Senior Pastor

Pastor Witmer was born and reared in Morgantown, WV. His father was a business man and his mother was a homemaker. He grew up in an independent, fundamental, conservative Baptist Church.

At age 10, after years of burdened doubting, he called upon the Lord to save him. A few years later in Jr. High, he was called to the ministry under the preaching of Dr. Bob Jones III. Pastor Witmer earned his Bachelors degree in Bible and Masters degree in Pastoral Ministry from BJU.

Pastor Witmer's wife, Amy, received Christ in college after doubting her salvation through her teen years. She was actually baptized when she was a Youth Pastor's wife. Amy is one of the pianists at Lighthouse.

Pastor Witmer's ministry includes preaching, teaching, counseling, training, etc. He would like to write in the future if the Lord provides the opportunity. The Witmers have been in the Pastorate since 1992 as Youth, Assistant, and now Senior Pastor.

Music & Counseling Pastor

Pastor Pritt has been on staff at LBC since August 2007. He came to LBC with over ten years of experience in full-time church ministry. He is responsible for the oversight, development and implementation of two ministries: Music and Outreach.

Pastor Pritt came to know the Lord as a young child of 5 and was baptized at the age of 7. It was in a high school chapel under the preaching of Evangelist Tom Farrell that he recognized and responded to the call of God to full time ministry.

Pastor Pritt received his Bachelor's Degree in Church Music, and a Master's Degree in Counseling at Bob Jones University, where he has also been taking doctoral level classes. It was at Bob Jones that he met his wife, Shelley who also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Pedagogy and a Master's in Piano Performance.

Youth & Outreach Pastor

Pastor Cruice has been on staff at Lighthouse as the Youth and Outreach Pastor since October 2010. Having grown up in a Christian family, he knew the Gospel but did not make Christ his Savior until the age of twelve while attending summer camp with his youth group. The following summer, he was baptized and the Lord called him to preach.

After attending Ambassador Baptist College in North Carolina, he transferred to West Coast Baptist College in California where he met his wife-to-be, Alicen, and graduated with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and Evangelism. Alicen graduated from West Coast in 2006 with a Bachelors in Secondary Education with an emphasis on English. Pastor Cruice is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, WI.

Upon completion of his Bachelors in 2007, he served as youth pastor in Independence, Missouri for 3 Â½ years until coming to Lighthouse. During those 3 Â½ years, he married Alicen on March 22, 2008 and their daughter Kylie was born on August 23, 2010. They love working with the youth and the surrounding community and praise the Lord for His faithfulness to lead them to Lighthouse!

Office Manager

John Olinda joined the Lighthouse Baptist Church staff in July of 2010. He serves as the church office manager and oversees scheduling, organization, and facilities. He graduated from Bob Jones University with a bachelor's degree in Composite Social Studies Education in May of 2010 and has a strong desire to see the ministry of the local church grow and excel.

He and his wife Paulette met while in college and were married after he finished his senior year of studies. Both John and Paulette were saved at a young age and share a strong desire to minister to young people and encourage them in their spiritual growth.

John was led to study education while still in high school and enjoys teaching opportunities in the ministry and looks forward to someday traveling to Asia to help improve Christian education and outreach in the region. Paulette received her degree in Culinary Arts from Bob Jones in 2009 and enjoys opportunities to use her gfts to minister to the church. John plans to pursue further education in art, education, and Asian culture in the near future.
